Stargazer Publishing Company was founded in 1995 to be the premier publisher of user-friendly versions of difficult-to-use educational materials. The initial titles included The World’s Easiest Guide to Using the APA, now in its third edition, and The World’s Easiest Guide to Using the MLA, used by college students to format research papers. Stargazer is proud that many professors and colleges have adopted its user-friendly versions to replace the esoteric originals.

In 2001, the company moved from Westminster to Corona, California, and expanded its mission from books that educate and empower to those that also enlighten and entertain. Titles on the 2004 list include Persistence is Power!: A Real-World Guide for the Newly Disabled Employee; How to Start and Run a Writers’ Critique Group; Learn to Critique Like an Expert! ; If Looks Could Kill, a murder mystery for junior high school students; The Phantom Hunters mystery series for middle-graders, whose main character is psychic; and Aesock’s Travels, a fiction series for grades 2-4 that takes readers back in time to visit famous historical figures. Both of these series are in English and Spanish. In keeping with Stargazer’s educational focus, classroom materials for various grade levels are available for each children’s book.
